All students who are planning to attend Mattie T. Blount High School during the 26/27 school year must pre-register online.
MCPSS requires all students to show updated proofs of residence each year, within 100 days from the start of school. These proofs are required every year and may be submitted digitally during the online registration process or physically at each school's in-person registration events.
All proofs of residence are subject to vetting and verification before enrollment is finalized. Falsified/fraudulent proofs will not be accepted. Those who are unable to present acceptable proofs of residence will be required to complete and submit an Affidavit of Residence.

Three of our theater students attended the State Trumbauer Festival at UAB to compete in various categories. Amber Giles, Prettie Moore, and Brailyn Stewart received Superior ratings (blue medals), and Brailyn Stewart brought home our very first trophy for his Comedic Acting monologue! Over Thanksgiving Break, seniors Alyssa Lang and Kaidence Coates proudly represented Blount High School and MCPSS in Chicago with the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids. These outstanding young ladies had the incredible opportunity to walk in the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade, bringing a piece of Mobile to a national stage. We are so proud of our Leopards! 💐💜🤍
The Leopards wrapped up their 2025–2026 season at UMS-Wright on Thursday with three big wins! Seniors Brandon Moore and Kendred Rivers and junior Malik Hughes all claimed victories over Baldwin County High School.
Malik capped off an incredible season by earning a spot on the Mobile/Baldwin County Scholastic Chess League All-Star Team, finishing #3 out of 38 players.
