The Blount High School Boys Basketball Team recently participated in the 2025 Ballin Down South Media Day, an annual event that brings together teams from across the region to share insights on the upcoming season.
Led by Head Coach Shumbe Hunter, the Leopards discussed their goals for the year, the excitement surrounding the program, and the unwavering energy of the Blount student body. This season marks a special milestone for Coach Hunter, who enters his 15th year as a head coach and his first year leading the Blount High School basketball program.
Representing Blount at Media Day were Jaiden Beck, a junior, along with JaiVion Patrick and Kobi Benjamin, both sophomores. The student-athletes spoke with pride about their preparation for the season and their determination to uphold Blount’s tradition of excellence both on and off the court.
As anticipation builds, the Leopards look forward to an exciting season ahead under Coach Hunter’s leadership and the continued support of the Blount community.
